The engineer behind KED

KED is led by Mohamad Youssef Kinat, a mechanical engineer and product development specialist based in Turkey. Mohamad helps startups, manufacturers, and engineering teams design machines, develop products, improve manufacturability, and prepare production-ready documentation.

His work combines hands-on factory experience with modern CAD, DFM, prototyping, supplier coordination, and practical manufacturing knowledge. This means every design is created with real-world fabrication in mind — not just theoretical models.

Coming from an engineering and manufacturing background, Mohamad works closely with factories and technical teams when projects require fabrication, prototyping, or production support. This practical approach ensures that designs are not only technically sound but also cost-effective and manufacturable.
